Nightlife: The Tipsy Crow

Formerly called “The Bitter End,” The Tipsy Crow is conveniently located on one of the most popular blocks in the Gaslamp, making it downtown’s ultimate corner bar. Inside a historic building that dates back to 1874, The Tipsy Crow is anything but outdated and is a nightlife knock-out with three levels of classic decor, the friendliest staff on Fifth Avenue, quality cocktails and a mouthwatering late night menu.
We love this place so much that we even decided to have our launch party there!
The Crow is a regular destination of ours because it has a little something for everyone and is guaranteed to be a good time whether it’s your first stop of the night, or your last.

The Main. The name says it all. The main party is here at any hour of the night. Drawing crowds off the street with their epic bar, shuffleboard table, and plush booth seating, any given night hosts a great mix of locals and tourists who stop in for a drink after work or are celebrating San Diego style.
The Underground is their lower-level hangout. Featuring comedians, DJs, and live music, this basement haven is a hidden gem. Wednesday nights feature live local music along with some pretty rad drink specials.
The Nest is their top level and our personal favorite. Think dark wood, classic decor, and a casually upscale environment. Upstairs from the main bar, The Nest offers an unmatched street view of the partying happening below and a more intimate setting. Here you can enjoy a perfectly mixed martini near one of their two fireplaces, challenge your friends to a game of pool, or have a go at their stock market themed “drink exchange.”
Take our word for it… No matter what your plans for the evening, The Tipsy Crow is a great stop for a friendly rendezvous or naughty night out.
